The ethos of the club is that rugby is a game for anyone to play for enjoyment and success at all levels.

We wish to continue to create family involvement and as such enjoy an active club house with social events throughout the year. We welcome parents to all training sessions and matches and value your support.

Training sessions and home matches take place on Sunday mornings starting at 10.30am . The full fixture lists can be found on the Fixtures page or the Information pages.

The Casuals are unique in that they provide all the Mini & Juniors with their shirt to enable children from all cultures and backgrounds to enjoy our popular and growing sport.(There is small £5 deposit required for the shirt which will be refunded when the shirt is returned at the end of the season.)Our aim is that teamwork and enjoyment of the game are paramount.

There is no cost for training sessions and matches. The club has a small annual subscription fee of £20 to cover all our costs. We believe that by encouraging and developing these children we will provide future players not only for club but hopefully even higher honours.

This year to ensure the safety of all the children there will be no age dispensations unless agreed by the RFU (see section below)

We will continue to invest in raising the already high standard of our coaching team and in new and innovative training equipment.

We are pleased to announce that the kit shop will be opening fortnightly. This will allow everyone to purchase tracksuits, socks gum shields etc. We will also be opening a tuck shop and selling hot food, on a Sunday mornings.

We have a fantastically enthusiastic committee and group of volunteers/parents who I would like to thank for work already done and in advance for the new season, but we need more people to become even better!

For more information read a welcome letter from our Chairman and see registration detail on the information pages.

Children's Well being

We are currently ensuring that all our coaches are police checked, please be assured that any not checked have been made aware as to what they are/are not allowed to do whilst unchecked. All checks are being processed.

River safety

Please could we ask parents to be vigilant, ensure that you know where your children are, and to stay well away from the river.

Special dispensation

There are some cases which on odd occasions children are allowed within RFU guidelines to cross between age groups, these are very rare and would need to be looked at individually by coaches/parents/chairman, As a general rule only dispensations that will be allowed must fit within the RFU guidelines If anyone wishes more information please speak to Craig Murphy.

Gum Shields

Please be aware that as a club we have decided, in respect to the safety of all children involved in playing rugby with us, that
gum shields will be compulsory this season. These are not expensive to purchase and are certainly worth the small charge.
